Built-in far-field microphone

No TV mic

This model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.

What a far-field mic does →

The EU product information sheets for all seven A6NTUK sizes say "Voice recognition sensor available: No". Hisense's UK manual agrees: the TV's front has only a power indicator and power button, and the remote has a button to "Activate the microphone". Hisense UK's spec lists "Voice Assistant: Voice Control" with no microphone in the TV.

This model is still receiving firmware/platform updates.

What that actually means for your TV →

The EU product information sheets promise software and firmware updates for at least 8 years after the model stops being sold (the 55A6NTUK was on the market until 31/12/2025). Hisense UK's spec gives the same 8 years. No Hisense page with an update history for this model was found.

No Hisense UK or VIDAA source was found that describes viewing-data collection or an opt-out for this model, and the UK manual doesn't mention it. V's privacy policy, which covers the UK, says its Enhanced Viewing (ACR) service is opt-in and switched in Settings, but isn't available everywhere or on every model.
