Built-in far-field microphone
UnverifiedWhether this model has a built-in microphone (beyond the remote) hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.
LG's 2020 spec sheet lists "Google: Google Assistant Built-In, 'Works with' Google Assistant" and "Alexa: Alexa Built-In, 'Works with' Alexa" — but unlike the 2022 NANO80 sheet, this one has no separate "Hands-free Voice Control" row at all to compare those against. Given how the 2022 sheet used near-identical "Built-in"/"Works with" language for a model that separately, explicitly listed "Hands-free Voice Control: -" (not included), it's plausible this 2020 model works the same way — but that's an inference from a different model year's sheet, not this one's own explicit statement, so it stays unverified rather than assumed false.
Security vulnerabilities in webOS
SupportedThis model is still receiving firmware/platform updates.
What that actually means for your TV →
LG's US support pages for the 75NANO80UNA and 65NANO81ANA list software version 04.64.00, dated 13 May 2026 (and 04.63.25, 16 Sep 2025). LG doesn't say whether these files bring a newer webOS version, and gives no end date for this model. Checked 23 Oct 2026.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Has ACRThis model has LG's ACR feature (branded "Live Plus"), which analyses on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
LG's 12 Sep 2026 statement describes ACR (Live Plus) on LG smart TVs generally, not this specific model. LG says it is turned off by default and only runs once you accept the Viewing Information Agreement.
Looks for other devices on your home network
Looks for devicesLG says this TV looks for compatible devices on your home network, for features like connecting to them, and doesn't describe a setting that turns this off. To keep it away from your other devices, you can put the TV on a separate guest network.
How to put a TV on its own network →
LG says its smart TVs use device discovery to find compatible devices on your home network, such as set-top boxes, games consoles and smart home devices, and that this information isn't used for advertising (statement, 12 Sep 2026). LG doesn't describe a setting that turns it off. A 2026 Gamers Nexus test on an LG G3 found the TV repeatedly contacting other devices on the network even with no agreements accepted. Whether the list of devices is sent to LG hasn't been shown publicly.
