Built-in far-field microphone

No TV mic

This model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.

What a far-field mic does →

Philips' product information sheets for the 24PHS6000, 32PHS6000, 32PFS6000 and 40PFS6000 say "Voice recognition sensor available: No". The UK spec list gives voice control as "Works with Alexa, Works with Google Assistant", and the manual sets both up through a separate Alexa or Google device and app.

Security vulnerabilities in Titan OS

Supported

This model is still receiving firmware/platform updates.

What that actually means for your TV →

Philips' UK security statement for its 2025 models, which names the 24PHS6000/12, gives a support period to 15 February 2028. The product information sheets for all four sizes separately promise software and firmware updates for at least 8 years after the model stops being sold.

Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI

Unverified

Whether this model runs ACR hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.

What ACR is and how to turn it off →

Philips' 6000 series pages and manual don't mention viewing-data collection. Titan OS's privacy policy says a smart TV running it may contain a content recognition feature, off by default, that can be switched off in a Viewing Data menu, but it doesn't name models.

Titan OS shows ads in its own menus. They can't be turned off, but there are settings that change how they're personalised. Source ↗

All Philips TV settings, by software version → It lists them once for every model with this software. Software updates can reset these settings, so check again after an update.
