Sony published firmware v114.602.170.1 for this series on 4 August 2026. This proves active firmware support at that date, but is not a promise of a particular future support period. In the UK, Sony's security update table gives a support period ending 14 March 2027 for the XR-55, XR-65 and XR-77A95L, and Sony UK published firmware v114.603.100.1 on 24 September 2026.

What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Sony has used Samba Interactive TV ACR on specifically listed older BRAVIA models, and the Texas Attorney General alleges wider ACR use on Sony smart TVs. Neither source confirms this named series. Sony's current Samba support list does not include it, but absence from that list is not proof that no other ACR implementation is present.
