Built-in far-field microphone
Has micThis model has a built-in far-field microphone, which is the hardware hands-free voice control uses.
TCL's US quick-start guide for the 55–85-inch QM6K Pro (linked from TCL's US support page) shows a "HANDS-FREE VOICE CONTROL MIC SWITCH" on the TV, described as a "Toggle switch to enable or disable the TV's integrated microphone" (printed page 10). Printed page 15 says you can "Speak towards the TV" after saying "Hey Google", and that hands-free use in standby needs the Screenless setting. TCL's separate quick-start guide for the 98QM6K Pro shows the same switch. The base QM6K has its own entry and source.
Security vulnerabilities in Google TV
UnverifiedFirmware support status hasn't been confirmed for this model from a citable source yet.
What that actually means for your TV →
No official TCL policy stating a minimum number of years of Google TV/software updates for this specific model could be found, unlike Samsung's public seven-year Tizen commitment. Stays unverified rather than assumed either way.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
UnverifiedWhether this model runs ACR hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Viewing-data ACR has not been independently confirmed for the QM6K Pro. TCL's quick-start guide confirms microphone hardware, but does not document viewing-data collection or an opt-out setting for this variant. A brand-wide allegation alone is not treated as model-specific confirmation.
