What does my Sky TV collect?
Sky Glass is a UK-only, subscription-bundled smart TV with a built-in microphone by design: it listens for a wake phrase from across the room, which most other TVs on this site don't do. Type your model in — you'll get a source for every answer, or an honest "unverified" when we don't have one yet.
This page covers 2 Sky models from 2025. A built-in microphone is confirmed on 2; ACR isn't confirmed either way for any of them. See every model.

Viewing data settings
- Data & Personalisation
Sky account (online) → My Details → Data & PersonalisationOpt out to stop Sky using data from your TV for personalisation and profiling. Sky says opting out deletes data about what you like to watch and turns off recommendations and the Continue watching rail.
Changes can take up to 24 hours. Apps share viewing data with Sky only if you opt in within each app.
Sky's privacy controls for Sky Glass are in your online account; no official on-TV menu path was found.
Ad settings
- Tailored advertising and servicesAds continue, less personalised
Sky account (online) → My Details → Communications preferences → Tailored advertising and servicesTurn it off to stop ads in Sky TV programmes being tailored to your household (Sky AdSmart). Sky says AdSmart doesn't mean you see more ads.
This covers ads in Sky TV programmes and channels, not the TV's menus. Sky's controls for Sky Glass are in your online account, not on the TV.
Don't know your model number?
On the TV: Settings → About. Or check the sticker on the back. Gen 2 model numbers start with LT and Glass Air numbers with LB; both include a three-digit size code.
