What does my onn. TV collect?
onn. is Walmart's private-label brand, not a single manufacturer — different onn. TVs run three separately licensed platforms depending on tier: Roku TV, Google TV, or actual VIZIO OS software under the "Powered by VIZIO" line. Which one applies (and what it means for tracking) depends entirely on the specific model. Type it in — you'll get a source for every answer, or an honest "unverified" when we don't have one yet.
This page covers 3 onn. models from 2024 to 2025. A built-in microphone is ruled out on 1; ACR is confirmed on 2. See every model.

Ad settings
- Delete advertising IDAds continue, less personalised
Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising IDStops apps using the advertising ID for personalised ads. Apps can still show ads.
The same screen has Reset advertising ID.
- Apps only modeRelated setting
Settings → Accounts & Sign In → Your profile → Apps only mode → Turn onHides personalised recommendations. Google says sponsored content and teasers for popular movies and shows still appear, and Search, the Assistant and your Watchlist are turned off.
Some manufacturers label the account menu differently, e.g. "Accounts & Profiles" on Hisense or "Manage accounts" on TCL UK.
Google: "You can't turn off ads, but you can control the use of your advertising ID for personalized ads across installed apps."
Don't know your model number?
Check the sticker on the back of the set or the TV's device-information screen — onn.'s numbering varies by platform: Roku-based sets use a plain numeric ID like 100012587, while Google TV and Powered-by-VIZIO models use a size-prefixed code like 65SMQP4GSB1 or 55S4V1.
