TV privacy settings, checked per model
What does my Insignia TV collect?
Insignia is Best Buy's private-label brand, not a manufacturer — its current lineup runs Amazon Fire TV exclusively (older Insignia sets ran Roku TV instead). Fire TV's own automatic content recognition is documented directly by Amazon, not Insignia. Type your model in — you'll get a source for every answer, or an honest "unverified" when we don't have one yet.
This page covers 7 Insignia models from 2022 to 2025. A built-in microphone is ruled out on 3; ACR is confirmed on 7. See every model.
Privacy and ad settings
Every Insignia TV on this site runs Fire TV. Fire TV's ACR and ad settings are in one guide that covers every brand's Fire TV models: Fire TV settings guide →
Don't know your model number?
Check the sticker on the back of the set — Insignia's current naming is size-prefixed like NS-55F301NA25, where the middle digits (F30, F50) identify the tier.
