Audi Centre (free connected car activation)

Audi UK says your Audi Centre can help you connect your car and become the key user, and you can book a free activation online. Its pages don't say what happens to a previous key user.

Selling: unlink and wipe

Disengage the car and delete dataSeller
myAudi account

Audi's Functions on Demand terms say sellers should disengage the car from their myAudi account "immediately", delete personal data stored in the car, and hand over the vehicle code to the buyer. The terms say disengaging is the seller's responsibility, not Audi UK's.

The exact in-car steps aren't in the public pages (the owner's manual needs a myAudi login).

Good to know

Not found in Audi's public UK documents: How a buyer removes a previous key user (Audi UK's myAudi and Audi connect FAQs, re-checked on 6 Nov 2026, don't cover it), and the in-car reset path (the owner's manual needs a myAudi login). Menu paths can differ by model and software version; each one here is for the version its source names.
